A bit more

about me…

I’m half Egyptian and half Kuwaiti and grew up between Cairo and the U.S. I like collecting vinyl, making playlists for oddly specific moods, and saving small things for scrapbooks.

That love for small details carries into my work, where I get excited about making things look and feel right, from the visual design to the experience behind it and how it connects with people.

What defines me
01
People first
I studied CS and cognitive science to understand both how systems work and how people experience them. What feels intuitive to one person can be invisible to another. I try to bring that awareness into everything I build.
02
Where I come from
Growing up between cultures made me more attentive to the ways technology can feel foreign to people who weren't considered when it was designed.
03
Data as a lens
Data interests me most when it reveals something about human behavior that wouldn't otherwise be visible. I love making something quantitative tell a story.
04
Lifelong learning
Curiosity has taken me across healthcare, ML, cultural preservation, and AI governance. The people around me have shaped how I think just as much as any project has.
